Title: Halloween Party
I made this poem about the day I went an awesome Halloween Party. The girl in this poem is just all about me. XD This is all what happened at the party all in one poem. It took me awhile to finish, but it's done.
"What a day." The girl said as she came back from school
A place where life seemed to run on through.
Before she went home she talked to her friend,
"You wanna come to my party to relax to instead?"
She agreed to come and didn't know what to wear,
"It was Halloween.." she said as she slumped in her chair.
She knew exactly what she wanted to be.
Her other friends came along; the people she wanted to see.
"Can I borrow some items to fit with my costume?"
Her friends agreed and brought some things from their room.
"Perfect." she began to swirl.
"I'm going to be a cowgirl!"
Her friends grinned and they walked away
It was a good thing it was Friday.
Her dad came home ready to take her there
She yelled, "One minute I'm almost done brushing my hair!"
She ran to the car ready to go
That day seemed so long ago.
At first her dad was lost and then found the way
As a lady talked to us and it was all okay.
She got to the house ready to meet with her friend,
Her friend got up, "I'm glad you could attend."
He showed her around and she was amazed by the sight
"That's all" he said. "I guess it's alright."
We went outside to find many boys
Runnin' and screamin', there was a lot of noise.
They were playing football, a sport she couldn't play
"I'll be right back. Just sit there and stay."
She nodded her head and decided to sit,
Was this the party? Is this it?
Her friend came back and another guy came to,
When she saw this guy, she felt something new.
After awhile, they went to stay at her friends room.
They turned up some music and turned on the volume.
She was shy and just sat without word,
She didn't know anyone and it was awkward.
Eventually, we all went back outside
Since that's what they all had to decide.
They invited her to jump on the trampoline,
She thought to herself, "Here goes my hygiene."
We did some flips and we played some games,
And still she barely knew anyones names.
She wrestled some guys and they were amazed,
"Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't tackle." she said as she gazed.
Later that day, she wanted to text.
But then she heard what they were going to play next.
A Zombie game so fun indeed,
She had to run from the zombies in order to succeed.
It went on for hours and It was a fun game,
She was glad that she had luckily came.
Then they went to the fire to heat,
They gave her some marshmallows and gave her a seat.
Before the party was over, she just had a quick chat
It was finally done and that was that.
