vBulletin License

I think we should accept donations for hosting and a vB license. vBulletin is what most anime sites that have alot of members are powered off of, and it looks professional and nice. Though it'll take awhile since an owned license is $180 195.

EDIT: Disregard the old price, that's the 3.x.x price. vB is version 4.x.x now.

I would love this, I have no clue how we'll get the licence though.
Also, if we got this we could host it on Otaku, right?

Yeah except my hosting account has a 30GB/mo bandwith cap so it couldn't get too big.

We could raise more to get the extra hosting, haha.

I think they still have a rental option for $50/mo. The owned license is $200.

It's USD$195, which is 125 GBP.

it's 130 Euros.

Hmmm Vb is the best for forum hosting.. It would be cool to have a VB site, its more attracting and appealing to the eye. But yh its a lot of money...

Well...If we go for it I will make the forum, user-groups and stuff, I already made a VB-Forum for fun, it was illegal though so it got deleted in 24 hours :/

Yeah, I don't want it to be like AF though.....Too many members and....most where of very low quality, well, from what I've seen.

I think that AF just was WAY too hasty in there way of doing things, and Having the Wrong mods/Way of doing things they Kinda Messed up, but if i am correct we can do a much better job...

Nat your right. The majority are low quality..but there are some of high quality..and the mods..most were definately bad choices.. some werent.. I was a good choice :P

Though, when we got AA back Tanner and I found way over 100 accounts, all of these had the same IP as Ascended, I believe one was even....wait for this, it's good....Gohan_Master!

Hmm interesting but I dont believe he is Gohan Master... she posted up some picks... of herself and has many post counts.. and well.. I dont think ascended is sad enough to talk to himself and get 5k posts each on each account
