Saiyou watches her for a while

Haru looks like she's concentrating hard. Slowly the static becomes more uniform and more controlled.

Saiyou folds, his arms, his eyes fixated on the blade

Haru keeps looking at the blade

Saiyou nods, smiling kindly at Haruka and standing up, taking the sword from her

He throws the sword to the side and looks down at Haruka
How about a sparing match?
He brings his hand between them as it lights up on fire
Only using our elemental powers though

Haru looks up at him nervously
what is sparring?

Saiyou opens his fist and smiles

Instantly a blast of air flies, strong enough to send Haruka flying a few feet back unless she countered with a wind or earth defensive move.

Haru puts her hands up to cover her face and closes her eyes tight, when she opens then she see's a tall but thin rock in front of her only centimeters from her. It crumbles and falls instantly unblocking her view of Saiyou, She looks up at him a little confused.

Saiyou smiles and instantly a cage of pillars surrounds the entire area, giving Haruka places to hide

Haru looks around nervously then looks up at Saiyou
What are they for Saiyou?

Saiyou appears behind her, his body pressing against her back
Try not to get hit by my attacks

Haru looks around and up at him looking worried
attacks?

Saiyou smiles and pats Haruka's shoulder, turning her around slowly so she's facing him
I wont hurt you...

Haru smiles timidly looking a little more relaxed, she nods but continues to look up at Saiyou

Saiyou smiles at her, putting his hands on her waist and pushing her back gently
It's ok Haruka, just go and hide from me...

Haru nods, and tilts her head
well don't look silly or there's no point in me hiding

Suddenly the ground behind Saiyou explodes
Three seconds to get outta my sight

Haru looks startled and seems to vanish with a whimper

Saiyou smiles as the ground drops back down, he sighs and leans back against a pillar, eventually sitting down.

Haru looks around the edge of a pillar nervously (now visible). biting her nails

Saiyou flicks his hand, sending a bolt of lightning at Haruka's fingers (only enough to burn her slightly)

Haru cries out with shock and bolts for another pillar, holding her fingers with her free hand

Saiyou throws more at her, launching them every second she's visible to him

Haru makes herself as small as possible, her nerves leaving her a little as she realised it wasn't hurting her.

He lets out a larger bolt, enough to send her flying
