The Valley




A
picturesque view of the mountains across the valley on one side a cliff
on the other a large lake and opposite the mountains is a forest

Quinn lands in the valley and looks around. He walks to to some tall grass and lies down with his hands behind his head and looks to the sky.
"Well this seems peaceful."

Petronius sits by the edge of the forest, sitting down and leaning against one of the outer trees, looking out across the entire valley.

A great flash of light comes from out of the nowhere from the sky, and whit a sound less and shock less explosion of light it vanishes as fast as it came. It all had just taken a second or less.
Leaving something, a living human being in the valley.

Petronius looks up, not bothered much by the light but it has put him on edge, ready to fight if it's needed.

Something or somebody stands up looking around, like it had no idea where it was.
It was a female like figure, still looking around but than noticed something or someone at the edge of the forest. Trying to focus on it but only seeing from the distance that it was something that lived. She than walks closer the edge of the forest.

Petronius looks at the person and narrows his eyes, not trusting the feminine figure for a second.

She than starts to walk straight to him, not planned to do anything. Her red eyes are looking at him, not knowing who or what he was. When she's just 10 yards away from him she stops. Not taking her eyes from him but listing to things happening between the leaves of the trees.

Petronius stands up defensively and looks at her
What do you want?

She looks at him, "I don't want anything of you.. I was just asking myself what you are?" she smiles slightly.

Petronius walks towards her, his long silvery hair dancing about as the wind sweeps it to the side
Something that's none of your business

Neva only smiles at him, "Okay than," she looks at his silver hair. "Why it's not?" she asks after a silence only disturbed by the sound of the wind.

Petronius stops, now only about a foot away from her, the wind still blowing his hair violently
I don't like strangers asking me questions

"I'm not a stranger.. I'm Neva, Neva Ameris, and you?" she asks than

Petronius looks at her through thin eyes
Petronius

"Oh" is the only thing she said, than looking around him. "I think I can be useful to you" But she really didn't know how or if she would be useful.

Petronius smiles at her curiously
How?

>Neva<
"I don't know yet but I'm sure I can be useful for you.."

Petronius sighs and shakes his head, turning his back on the girl
Whatever...

>Neva<
She looked at him, "I have powers, I can't use them yet Just only one but..I can be useful later on"

Petronius looks back slightly
Why are you so desperate?

>Neva<
She looks at him, "I need to get to know this place.. Thats why.." she says than quietly.

Petronius' eyes narrow
But why me?

>Neva<
Smiles slightly
"Cuss you where the first thing I saw coming here." She says and walks a little circle around him

Petronius' nails grow into claws, he's obviously on guard...
